A second-generation craftsman, Chris has been immersed in construction since he was old enough to hold a hammer, working alongside his father and honing his skills from the ground up. With over 17 years of professional experience—and a lifetime of knowledge gained growing up in the trade—Chris has built a reputation for precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.

Originally co-founding Nolte Bros. Construction with his brother in 2008 in Sunriver, Chris took the leap in 2025 to establish his own company, Browns Creek Residential Construction, named after his family’s cherished retreat in the Deschutes National Forest. As a hands-on builder specializing in start-to-finish construction, he personally oversees every stage of a project—from excavation to finish work—ensuring a seamless, high-quality build. Taking on only one project at a time, Chris prioritizes attention to detail, never settling for "good enough" when perfection is the standard.

With a carefully selected team of trusted subcontractors, many of whom he has worked with for years—some for decades—Chris ensures every aspect of the build meets his exacting standards. Whether designing and hand-drawing custom home plans or meticulously crafting the final touches, his passion lies in bringing his clients’ visions to life.

When he's not on the job site, Chris is making memories with his wife, Kyla, and daughter, Allie. Snowmobiling, boating, camping, and soaking up all Oregon has to offer.
